Truco is a popular card game played in many places in the world
Each player receives three cards from a subset of the deck consisting of the numbers 1 to 7, the Jack (in Spanish: Sota), worth 9, the Queen or Knight (in Spanish: Caballo), worth 8, and the Rei (in Spanish: Rey), worth 10.

The game is played until one team finishes the game with 2 games of 12 points. There are 24 points divided into two halves, the lower half called bad (in Spanish: malas), and the upper half called good (in Spanish: buenas).
